| Dear Visitor, Thank you for visiting the web site of the Reserve Police Officers Association! I’m proud to introduce this newly designed site and I am confident it will serve as an even better resource for RPOA members and the general public. We have many exciting and useful additions planned for the site in 2007, so please check back often. This year, the RPOA renews its mission as the leading association for auxiliary, reserve, and special police officers. Throughout the world, hundreds of thousands of ordinary citizens volunteer their time to do an extraordinary job as law enforcement and public safety officers. Their contributions often go unnoticed by the public and under appreciated by leaders in government. The RPOA exists to help provide these officers with the resources they need to their jobs safely and effectively and to advance the cause of reserve policing in our communities. If you are an auxiliary, reserve, or special police officer, or a regular police officer supportive of reserve policing, I hope you will consider membership in the RPOA. If you are a citizen concerned about the safety of your community and your country, please consider making a monetary contribution to the Reserve Police Officers Association. The programs funded by your donations go a long way in providing safety equipment, training, and professional resources to the people who volunteer their time serving all of us. To everyone who continues to support the efforts of the RPOA, words of thanks cannot adequately compensate for the gift that you provide. May you receive gratitude in knowing that because of your support, somewhere there’s a reserve police officer who can save a life, arrest a dangerous offender, and return home safely to his or her family.
